Basketball Recap: St. Pius X Catholic Takes a Loss

After flying high against Druid Hills last Tuesday, St. Pius X Catholic came back down to earth. The St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions received a blow on Friday as they fell 49-32 to the Northview Titans. The Golden Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Titans earlier this season, when they won 51-43.

Northview found their leader in sophomore Milan Johnson, who went 7 for 9 to rack up 17 points and four steals. That's the most points Johnson has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Erin Hobbs, who put up ten points and four steals.

St. Pius X Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Northview, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-8.

As of now, neither St. Pius X Catholic nor Northview have any future games scheduled.
