Clifton was handed a heart-breaking two-run  loss in their last  game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Cliffside Park  on Tuesday. The Mustangs were the clear victors by  an  18-11 margin over the Raiders. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven  runs or more this season.
 Sydney Reeb spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned  (and eight unearned) runs on nine hits.
 At the plate,  Hailey Casserly was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double. Those  five  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  Casey Mullen was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
Clifton's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Cliffside Park, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record  this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clifton will take on Passaic at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Cliffside Park, they will challenge Fort Lee at 4:15  p.m.  on Wednesday.
