It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Roosevelt had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They skirted past the Narbonne Gauchos 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rough Riders have posted since April 14th.

The victory made it two in a row for Roosevelt and bumps their season record up to 10-20. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Narbonne, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-16 record this season.

Roosevelt will face off against Taft at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Narbonne does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
