Softball Recap: South Umpqua Has No Trouble Against Harrisburg

After losing to Harrisburg the last time they met, South Umpqua decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lancers put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 13-3 win on Thursday. The Lancers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by ten runs or more this season.

South Umpqua now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Harrisburg, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Coincidentally, South Umpqua and Harrisburg will both be playing Brookings-Harbor the next time they take the field. The Lancers will host the Bruins at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will host them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
