Rio was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Lourdes Knights. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2021.

Lourdes found their leader in underclassman Celia Ralofsky, who had 13 digs and 13 assists. Ralofsky is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.

Rio's loss dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Lourdes, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 23-17.

Rio does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lourdes has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Dodgeland on the 12th.
