Baseball Game Preview: Bath Wildcats vs. Wayne Trace Raiders

The Bath Wildcats will face off against the Wayne Trace Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bath hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Bath lost 11-1 to Indian Lake on Tuesday.

Bath saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaden Miller, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Wayne Trace made easy work of Continental on Monday and carried off a 10-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won three in a row.

Bath's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Wayne Trace, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Bath came out on top in a nail-biter against Wayne Trace in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, sneaking past 9-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
