Alex Caldwell Game Report: @ Garfield

For the first time in his career, Alex Caldwell scored a rushing touchdown on Friday. He rushed for 39 yards and one touchdown, but sadly Springfield still had to take a 40-21 loss at the hands of Garfield. We think that's the best game he's posted since August 22nd, when he rushed for 119 yards.

Caldwell and Springfield will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. Sadly, Caldwell's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Tigers' five-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Caldwell and the Tigers surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into the 19th's match.
