Baseball Game Preview: Pendleton Bulldogs vs. West-Oak Warriors

For the second straight game, Pendleton will face off against West-Oak. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Warriors at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Pendleton turned things around against West-Oak on Tuesday. They blew past the Warriors 9-1. The Bulldogs not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 8th.

Pendleton's victory was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kobe Gentry, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Gentry is becoming a predictor of the Bulldogs' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 4-7 when he doesn't).

Pendleton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The win got Pendleton back to even at 7-7. As for West-Oak, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
