While Bald Eagle Area's win against Tyrone wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Golden Eagles on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Sierra Albright spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Bald Eagle Area's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Addisyn Burns, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Bald Eagle Area's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Tyrone, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.

Bald Eagle Area wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 6-0 victory against Mifflin County on the 15th. Tyrone does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
