Edcouch-Elsa not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 26, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Donna North Chiefs. That's more bragging rights for the Yellowjackets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Edcouch-Elsa took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-10, 25-5.

Alliyah Ramirez was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 25 digs and ten aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September of 2024. Timara Leal was another key player, getting 11 digs and five aces.

They weren't the only good server: Edcouch-Elsa was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 23 aces. They are a perfect 3-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Edcouch-Elsa has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Donna North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, Edcouch-Elsa will face off against Skidmore-Tynan at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Donna North, they will be taking part in a tournament against Valley View at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
