Softball Recap: Phoebe Josephson Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Holy Trinity

Francis W. Parker barely beat Holy Trinity the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Colonels never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory on Friday. The Colonels have beaten the Tigers the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Tigers has come to flipping the script.

Lola Yee looked comfortable as she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Francis W. Parker got a massive performance out of Phoebe Josephson, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those three runs gave Josephson a new career-high. Izzy Sager was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

Francis W. Parker lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
