Basketball Game Preview: Forsyth Panthers vs. Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish

The Forsyth Panthers will square off against the Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Forsyth will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Strafford, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Forsyth snuck past Strafford with a 61-56 victory on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Springfield Catholic beat Reeds Spring 62-54 on Friday.

Springfield Catholic is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Forsyth, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
