Softball Recap: New Bremen Cardinals vs. Perry Commodores
New Bremen had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Perry Commodores with a sharp 16-1 win on Wednesday. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Commodores, too.
Lydia Bushman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Bushman was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
