Volleyball Recap: Eudora Beats Eureka for Their Sixth Straight Win

Eudora came tearing into Saturday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eureka Tornadoes. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cardinals also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Eudora easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-17.

Eudora was led to victory by Bailey Hammerschmidt and Braydee Miller. Hammerschmidt had ten digs and five assists, while Miller hit 68.2% for 17 kills and seven digs and one assist. Miller has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 17 times she's played.

Eudora's win bumped their record up to 22-9. As for Eureka, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 12-15.

Eudora wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Lyons on the 11th. As for Eureka, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against North on the 11th.
