South Lake is 8-2 against Tavares since September of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 19-25, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Tavares got the win against South Sumter on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

One reason for the win was Tavares' just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-15, 25-11.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 6-8. As for South Lake, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

South Lake was able to grind out a solid win over Tavares when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 3-1. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Bulldogs' Shamariyah Peterson, who had 25 digs and three assists.
