Basketball Recap: Wilmington Christian Academy Piles Up the Points Against Greenup County

On Saturday, everything came up roses for the Wilmington Christian Academy Patriots against the Greenup County Musketeers as the squad secured a 66-39 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Wilmington Christian Academy was led to victory by Parker Brown and Trent Davies. Brown made all 5 shots he took to post 15 points, while Davies posted 14 points and five steals. Davies has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last eight times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Escoffrey, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 15 points.

Wilmington Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Greenup County, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Wilmington Christian Academy and Floyd County will round out the year against one another at at 11:15 a.m. on Monday. Wilmington Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.8 points per game this season. As for Greenup County, they will challenge Rowan County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
