Football Recap: Rocky Mountain Falls Despite Big Games from Collin Brown and Bode Nesbitt + How To Watch

Rocky Mountain had lost four straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-2 to make it five. They took a 28-14 bruising from the Broomfield Eagles. The contest was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but the Lobos couldn't quite close it out.

Despite the defeat, Rocky Mountain had strong showings from Bode Nesbitt, who picked up 124 receiving yards and one TD, and Collin Brown, who picked up 53 receiving yards and one score.

As for Broomfield, the victory (which was their 12th in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.4 points over those games.

Kashus Clarvoe had a dynamite game, rushing for 223 yards and one touchdown while picking up 10.1 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 86-yard run. Another player making a difference was Brody Reidle, who gained 87 total yards and a touchdown.

Rocky Mountain didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 14-9 loss against Cherokee Trail on the 19th. As for Broomfield, they have also already played their next game, a 28-27 victory against Legacy on the 18th.
