Basketball Recap: Carroll County Takes a Loss

Carroll County suffered their closest defeat since February 26, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Gallatin County Wildcats by a score of 42-39. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-41 back in December of 2024.

Carroll County's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Gallatin County, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Carroll County is facing Collins at the right time seeing as Collins is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Gallatin County, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against Henry County at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
