Foard came into Tuesday's match having lost 12 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They claimed a resounding 78-50 win over the Cherryville Ironmen. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Foard's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Hedrick, who went 10 of 20 on his way to 25 points and five rebounds. Hedrick has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Holden Caldwell, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine assists.

When it comes to explaining why Cherryville lost on Tuesday, don't look at Andron Patterson. Despite the final result, he posted three points and 14 rebounds. Those 14 rebounds gave Patterson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Paxton Pruett, who had five points.

Foard's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Cherryville, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
