Basketball Game Preview: Halls Red Devils vs. West Rebels

The Halls Red Devils will face off against the West Rebels at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Halls has seven straight victories, West has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Halls is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were the clear victors by an 88-65 margin over Campbell County on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Meanwhile, West came up short against Farragut on Thursday and fell 72-59. That's two games in a row now that the Rebels have lost by exactly 13 points.

The victory got Halls back to even at 7-7. As for West, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-14.

Halls might still be hurting after the 70-48 loss they got from West in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can the Red Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
