Basketball Recap: Summit Tahoma Comes Up Short at Home Against North Valley Baptist

Summit Tahoma unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 73-47 to the North Valley Baptist Bulldogs on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tigers have suffered since January 13th.

Dom Lara went supernova for North Valley Baptist, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 20 boards. Another player making a difference was Ethan Lopez, who went 7 of 17 on his way to 22 points and three steals.

The win (which was North Valley Baptist's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Summit Tahoma will host Mountain View Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Valley Baptist, they will face off against Calvary Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
