Basketball Game Preview: Glynn Academy Terrors vs. Statesboro Blue Devils

Glynn Academy hasn't had much luck against Statesboro recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Glynn Academy Terrors will look to defend their home court against the Statesboro Blue Devils at 8:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Glynn Academy is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Saturday. They fell 67-57 to South Effingham.

Despite their loss, Glynn Academy saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jermaine Mack, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of BJ Perkins, who posted eight points and seven boards.

Meanwhile, Statesboro unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 58-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bradwell Institute.

Statesboro's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-2. As for Glynn Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-18.
