Athens came out on top against Bullard on Friday thanks in part to David Richardson's efforts. Richardson rushed for 24 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also picked up 35 receiving yards. The performance also marked the most rushing touchdowns (two) he has had since back in August.

Richardson and Athens will square off against Gilmer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will pit Richardson up against the Buckeyes' star QB Zade Taylor.
