Softball Recap: Ten Straight Home Wins for Starks

Starks came tearing into Thursday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Johnson Bayou Rebels get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Starks pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.6 runs over those games. As for Johnson Bayou, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
