Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask New Covenant Academy). They blew past the Everton Tigers, posting a 91-41 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Despite the loss, Everton had strong showings from Noah Morris, who posted eight points along with seven rebounds and five assists, and Joshua Daniels, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten boards. That was a full 58.5% of Everton's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Wylie Vigesaa, who had three points and three steals.

New Covenant Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Everton, they are on a 32-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Covenant Academy will host Fair Play at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Everton, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Everton Tigers challenge the Sheldon Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
