Recap: Teague Lions vs. Elkhart Elks
The Teague Lions's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Elkhart 59-57. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Teague has posted yet this season.
Teague got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tylin Randle out in front who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Leija, who scored 18 points.
Teague has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season. As for Elkhart, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.
Teague will head out on the road to take on Fairfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elkhart, they will be playing at home against Buffalo at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Buffalo is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
