Basketball Recap: Milford Comes Up Short

Milford lost against Turpin back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Milford Eagles fell 58-51 to the Turpin Spartans. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Milford still got an impressive performance from Camron Arington, who went 7 for 11 on his way to 21 points. Another player making a difference was Dillon Grimes, who posted eight points.

Milford's record is now 5-10. As for Turpin, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Milford will challenge Loveland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Turpin, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Archbishop McNicholas at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th.
