Basketball Recap: Grosse Pointe North Takes a Loss

Grosse Pointe North was the 46-27 winner over Port Huron Northern when they last played one another back in February of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Grosse Pointe North Norsemen took a 44-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Port Huron Northern Huskies on Monday.

Grosse Pointe North's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Port Huron Northern, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grosse Pointe North will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cousino at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Port Huron Northern, they will head out to take on Port Huron at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Port Huron is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.5 points per game this season.
