Soccer Recap: Conroe Takes a Loss

Conroe lost against The Woodlands back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Conroe Tigers came up short against The Woodlands Highlanders, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 292nd, while the Highlanders are ranked 47th).

Conroe's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for The Woodlands, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1-1.

Looking ahead, Conroe will be playing in front of their home fans against Cleveland at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for The Woodlands, they are taking a road trip to face off against Oak Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Oak Ridge will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something The Woodlands surely won't give up without a fight.
