Latin and Crane Medical squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Latin had to settle for second. They took a 70-52 bruising from the Crane Medical Cougars. The Romans' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Latin's loss dropped their record down to 21-8. As for Crane Medical, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season.

Latin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Crane Medical, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cougars duke it out with the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Crane Medical knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Phillips likes a good challenge.
