Soccer Game Preview: Westfield vs. MacArthur

Westfield hasn't had much luck against MacArthur recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Westfield Mustangs are taking a road trip to face off against the MacArthur Generals at 5:45 p.m.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Mustangs on Friday. Westfield lost 3-0 to Aldine. While losing is never fun, Westfield can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 398th, while Aldine is ranked 197th).

Meanwhile, MacArthur hasn't lost a match since January 4th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Monday. They put the hurt on Eisenhower with a sharp 4-1 win. Considering the Generals have won five matches by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Westfield's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for MacArthur, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
