After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Westfield, Friendship Christian was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Nashville Christian Eagles as they made off with a 13-4 victory. Considering the Commanders have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Cayden Law was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5. Friendship Christian is 9-3 when Law posts two or more runs, but 2-7 otherwise. Mason Hallum was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Friendship Christian now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Nashville Christian, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Friendship Christian will square off against rival Goodpasture Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Nashville Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Donelson Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
