Basketball Game Preview: Kingstree Blazers vs. Midland Valley Mustangs

The Kingstree Blazers and the Midland Valley Mustangs will face off at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Kingstree is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.2 points per game this season.

Kingstree is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Atlantic Collegiate Academy just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 53-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Armada.

The losing side was boosted by Demia Mosley, who posted 22 points and five boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. Naydia Shaw was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Midland Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell 45-36 to South Aiken.

Midland Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Kingstree, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-4.
