Soddy Daisy hadn't done well against Baylor recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Trojans won by a run and slipped past the Red Raiders 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Trojans have posted since March 8, 2025.

Soddy Daisy's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Wylee Woodward, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
