Baseball Recap: Sequatchie County Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Sequatchie County Indians didn't have quite enough to beat the Brighton Cardinals and fell 5-4.

Sequatchie County has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. The win made it two in a row for Brighton and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sequatchie County will venture away from home to square off against Warren County at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Warren County 3.4, Sequatchie County 4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Brighton, they will head out on the road to face off against Millington Central at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
