Marquette Catholic typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Concord proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Blazers. The victory continues a trend for the Minutemen in their matchups with the Blazers: they've now won three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16.

Despite the loss, Marquette Catholic still got an impressive performance from Sami Schenzel, who had 17 assists and three digs. Schenzel is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 17 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Concord's win bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Marquette Catholic, their defeat ended an eight-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-8.

Concord wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Northridge on the 4th. As for Marquette Catholic, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Michigan City on the 4th.
