Soccer Recap: Mishawaka Takes a Loss

Mishawaka lost against Northridge back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cavemen came up short against the Raiders, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Mishawaka can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 254th, while Northridge are ranked 58th).

This is the second loss in a row for Mishawaka and nudges their season record down to 2-7. As for Northridge, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mishawaka will take on Goshen at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Northridge, they will head out to challenge South Bend Saint Joseph at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. South Bend Saint Joseph's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
