Basketball Recap: 17 Straight Home Wins for Bishop Ireton

Bishop Ireton is ranked highly in their home state and on Tuesday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of St. Mary's Ryken. Everything went the Bishop Ireton Cardinals' way against the St. Mary's Ryken Knights as the Bishop Ireton Cardinals made off with a 76-50 win. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bishop Ireton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nyla Brooks, who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine boards. Amirah Anderson was another key player, going 8 of 11 en route to 22 points and six rebounds.
