Maiden had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They came out on top against the Lincolnton Wolves by a score of 7-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 23-4 back in March.

The team relied heavily on Brycen James, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Zane Williams was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Maiden pushed their record up to 12-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Lincolnton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maiden will venture away from home to square off against Newton-Conover at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Devils will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Blue Devils surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lincolnton, they will head out to face off against West Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
