Basketball Recap: Salesian Wins Going Away Against Chadwick

Salesian won the last time they faced Chadwick and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mustangs strolled past the Dolphins with points to spare, taking the game 58-39. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Salesian's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Chadwick, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Salesian will be taking part in a tournament against Dominguez on Saturday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Dons have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Chadwick, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Peninsula at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dolphins will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59.17 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
