Basketball Recap: Broadwater Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

After losing to Jefferson the last time they met, Broadwater decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Broadwater Bulldogs walked away with a 56-47 victory over the Jefferson Panthers on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on three straight.

Jefferson lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Tyler Frydenlund, who posted eight points and ten boards. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tyzer Zody, who earned 11 points.

Broadwater's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.

Broadwater does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jefferson, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Manhattan Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Manhattan Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
