Tullahoma proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lawrence County, sneaking past 8-7. The victory was familiar territory for Tullahoma, who have now won eight matchups in a row.
Madison Goad was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylee Holt, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
Tullahoma pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games.
