Palmer and Homer are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Moose will face off against the Mariners at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Palmer is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5 goals per game this season.

Palmer is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Kenai Central, who was ranked 14th at the time (Palmer was ranked eighth). The Moose beat the Kardinals by a goal, winning 2-1. Winning may never get old, but Palmer sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Jackson Charton and Bodie Miller scored both of Palmer's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Meanwhile, Homer managed to keep up with Palmer until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Mariners came up short against the Moose, falling 3-0. Homer have struggled against Palmer recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Palmer's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-1-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 37 goals over those seven contests. As for Homer, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6-1.

Palmer took their win against Homer in their previous matchup on Friday by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Moose repeat their success, or do the Mariners have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
