Southwestern recap November 13, 2013
Edwardsville extended the longest winning streak in Southwestern this week by beating Bradley-Bourbonnais, 42-0. The victory was the 11th in a row for the team.
East St. Louis was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting Normal Community. The Flyers came in at 19 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
On the heels of Camden Bauer and Kentrail Moran, O'Fallon has had great success on offense. Bauer leads the league in passing with 2,079 yards, while Moran has rushed for 1,140 yards this season. Tops in the league in receiving yards is East St. Louis' Jeff Thomas, with 853 yards on 45 catches.
Darren Sunkett's team's Gregory Taylor is a mere 29 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. Taylor has rushed for 971 yards on 110 carries so far this year.
Edwardsville took down the Boilermakers 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
