Softball Recap: Colfax's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

It was a good run, but Colfax unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Regis Ramblers by a score of 10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Vikings have suffered since March 31st.

Colfax's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Regis, they moved to 7-15 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colfax will face off against Elmwood/Plum City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Regis, they will head out on the road to take on Columbus Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Ramblers will need to watch out since the Dons have now posted at least ten runs in their last five contests.
