The Mosley Dolphins will square off against the Niceville Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mosley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Ryan Harless made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over 5.2 innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Peyton Williams and CJ Harris did most of the damage at the plate: Williams got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI, while Harris got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
Meanwhile, Niceville waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Barracudas. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since March 24th.
Sean Britton looked comfortable as he pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
At the plate, Deacon Avery was incredible, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run.
Mosley's record is now 20-7. As for Niceville, their record now sits at 21-7.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Mosley has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.4 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Niceville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Mosley came out on top in a nail-biter against Niceville in their previous meeting back in February, sneaking past 6-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dolphins since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
