Football Recap: Northland Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Northland's offense. They took a blow against the St. Francis DeSales Stallions on Friday, falling 34-0. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 367th, while the Stallions are ranked 77th).

Northland's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. Francis DeSales, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northland will square off against KIPP Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Francis DeSales, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Africentric Early College at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
