Football Recap: Placer Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Keilin Beverage and Danny Sanchez-Harlow + How To Watch

Placer dropped down to 4-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos, falling 49-24. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hillmen of the 43-7 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Placer's loss came despite strong showings from Danny Sanchez-Harlow and Keilin Beverage. Sanchez-Harlow gained 226 total yards and a touchdown, while Beverage picked up 81 receiving yards and one touchdown.

As for Twelve Bridges, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Chase Wyhlidko produced another solid performance rushing for 116 yards and three scores on only 12 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 104 rushing yards. Connor Frontiera was another key player, throwing for 232 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 75% of his passes.

Looking ahead, Placer will take on Yuba City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Shaun Jones and Ryan Corum. As for Twelve Bridges, they will challenge Roseville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 11.4 points per game this season, so the Raging Rhinos' offense will have their work cut out for them.
