Soccer Recap: Mt. Carmel Comes Up Short

Mt. Carmel lost against Richland County back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Mt. Carmel came up short against Richland County, falling 7-0. Mt. Carmel have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mt. Carmel's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Richland County, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Richland County will head out on the road to square off against Charleston at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Richland County is facing Charleston at the right time seeing as Charleston is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Mt. Carmel will be paying especially close attention to Richland County's contest: after Richland County faces off against Charleston, they'll take on Mt. Carmel again at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
