Basketball Recap: East View Comes Up Short

East View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They fell 44-32 to the Weiss Wolves. The Patriots were probably out for revenge after losing 69-38 to them when the teams met back in November of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Weiss found their leader in freshman Krystyna Dennis, who posted five points in addition to 13 rebounds and four steals. Dennis has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more blocks the last 12 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Alivia Wright, who put up 13 points and three steals.

East View's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Weiss, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-7.

East View didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-34 defeat against Georgetown on the 13th. As for Weiss, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 62-22 victory against Elgin on the 13th.
